Proposal submitted for 296 Houses at Catherinefield Farm

Wheatley Homes South recently developed 89 houses at the former Curries Yard in Heathhall and have now submitted a planning proposal for an additional 296 houses on the adjacent site at Catherinefield Farm.

Consultation events were held earlier in the year, which were well attended and gave residents the chance to see the proposals and give their thoughts, the community council also sought opinions via a survey, with feedback given to Wheatley, and directly to the council - including education and roads departments. Unfortunately we do not feel our representations regarding concerns over infrastructure have been allayed, we are seeking further discussions with the council over these, but the application has been submitted and residents have until 18th December to make any comments, or raise any objections - while the Community Council can provide a collective voice, the power of multiple individuals cannot be underestimated.

The proposals can be found here - Catherinefield planning application - and you can leave comments/objections on the application.
